C&S Motor Group have various vacancies throughout the year, if you meet any of the following requirements then please feel free to contact us regarding a position.

For all positions you must have good customer service skills including presenting yourself in a professional manner, a uniform is provided and expected to be worn at all times whilst on duty. All applicants are required to undergo an enhanced vetting procedure.

A full clean driving licence is preferred but applicants with minor points will be considered. All applicants must hold a current UK driving licence and must also be eligible to work in the UK.

Please also note that we operate in Central London and as such a basic knowledge of the area is required.

ROADSIDE VACANCIES

Roadside Patrols
You will need to be able to attend vehicles broken down at the roadside. You will be expected to diagnose the fault with the vehicle and where possible to repair that vehicle so the member can continue with their journey. You must be experienced in the repair & servicing of motor vehicles and be able to demonstrate this prior to a position being offered. On occasion you will be expected to recover the casualty vehicle utilising the towing equipment stored in the van. A van and recovery equipment is supplied but you will have to supply your own tools.

Shifts: Day shift, Mid shift, Night shift

Motorcycle Roadside & Recovery Patrol
This position concentrates on the roadside and recovery of motorcycles, however where needed you will provide roadside assistance to cars & vans (see also Roadside Patrols). The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the mechanical repairs of motorcycles. A van and recovery equipment is supplied but you will have to supply your own tools.

Shifts: Day shift

Commercial Roadside Assistance Technician
As a commercial roadside technician you will be expected to be able to provide roadside repairs to all vehicles from a car to a HGV, a CE licence is an advantage. A call out rota is operated on the commercial teams. You must be experienced in the repair & servicing of commercial vehicles. A fully fitted service van is supplied but you will need to supply your own tools. Applicants with a CE licence will also be trained (if necessary) in the operation of our commercial recovery vehicles.

RECOVERY VACANCIES

3.5t Recovery
As a light vehicle recovery technician you will be expected to recovery small vehicles throughout the UK, previous experience is an advantage but full training will be given to right applicant. You will need to hold a category B1 licence for this position.

Shifts: Day shift

Spec Lift Recovery
As a spec lift recovery technician you will be providing basic roadside assistance (wheel changes & boost starts etc) along with the recovery of various sized vehicles. Previous experience an advantage but not necessary as training will be given to the right applicant. A category CE licence is required for this position.

Shifts: Mid shift

7.5t Recovery
As a 7.5t recovery technician you will be required to recovery vehicles in various conditions throughout the UK, previous experience is an advantage but full training will be given to right applicant. You need to hold a category C1 or C1E licence for this position.

Shifts: Day shift, Mid Shift, Night Shift

Class 2 Recovery
As a class 2 recovery technician you will be required to recovery vehicles in various conditions throughout the UK, previous experience is an advantage but full training will be given to right applicant. You need to hold a category C licence for this position.

Shifts: Day shift, Mid Shift, Night Shift

Truck mounted crane recovery
As a truck mounted crane recovery technician you will be completing various recoveries mainly throughout London utilising a damage free cradle attached to a truck mounted crane. Previous experience preferred and a crane ticket would be an advantage. You need to hold a category C licence for this position

Shifts: Day shift, Night Shift

Commercial Recovery Technician
As a commercial recovery technician you will be required to recover any heavy goods type vehicle, basic mechanical knowledge is required as you will be expected to disconnect drive from the transmission along with other tasks associated with the recovery of commercial vehicles. Previous experience is preferred but full training will be provided to the right applicant. Applicants should understand that at times you will be towing large vehicles throughout London. At times you may be required to assist the light recovery teams including using the multicar transporters. A category CE licence is required for this position.

CONTROL ROOM VACANCIES

Controllers
As a controller you will be receiving & making calls, inputting data, checking that work is being completed correctly. You must be computer literate and have great customer service skills. A basic knowledge of the London area is required.
